Research summary
I conduct social epidemiology and mental health services research focused on psychosis and suicide. My current projects address the role of social isolation, urban living, and violence exposure in the development of psychotic symptoms and schizophrenia. My intervention research is focused on reducing suicide risk among people with psychosis by developing supportive social networks.
